Commercial Gathering Place

We all know most apartment complexes come across as pretty hum drum. For many, they are used as step-stone housing when either new to a city or gearing up to home ownership. An apartment needn’t be unappealing or without personality. With this in mind, we were thrilled when this apartment complex came to us with a goal of really getting to the crux of their tenants common spaces. Poised to provide a welcoming, “I-want-to-hang-out there” vibe, we decided to treat the space entirely as if it were a home. Large sofas, beautiful rugs, art work and a café-style family room are all handled as if one were stepping into someone’s personal living room; albeit continually stocked for several people. Beautiful entryway tables filled with food, books, magazines and objects; items of interest as they relate to the local culture and landscape of the environment in which this apartment complex is housed. We think it's a great place to feel welcome and at home.
