This comprehensive kitchen and living space overhaul was designed to transform a previously confined and underutilized space in Burbank into a chic, functional, and modernized area. Walls were strategically removed to connect the kitchen, laundry room, and living room, opening up the area for a more spacious feel and efficient use.

The newly created kitchen now boasts a functional layout featuring semi-custom two-toned blue and white shaker cabinets, a peninsula for casual dining and socializing, and an inviting farmhouse sink. Eye-catching black pendant lights hang above the peninsula, adding a touch of modern elegance. To maximize space, the washer and dryer were repositioned to a corner stackable setup, freeing up room for additional cabinet space.

Adding a rustic touch, custom wooden floating shelves were installed alongside the industrial-chic brushed nickel Norwell Lighting Aidan Swing Arm Wall Sconce. Complementing the cabinetry, the countertops are adorned with stunning Aurora Frost quartz by Vadara, while the backsplash showcases a white hexagon mosaic tile for a clean, modern aesthetic.

As part of this substantial transformation, the entire house's flooring was replaced with Water Oak Pure SPC 8mm by Republic flooring, a durable vinyl planks flooring. Further enhancing the ambiance, recessed lighting was added to the kitchen and living room to illuminate the space effectively. Finally, to ensure a complete transformation, a new roofing system was installed - the energy-efficient Duration Cool Line by Owens Corning.

This project beautifully demonstrates how a compact space can be intelligently designed and remodeled to create a modern, inviting, and highly functional living area.
