Our clients wanted to update their 1950’s ranch-style existing 1,700 square foot home in Santa Clara, Ca. The challenge for this project was a small lot size. We added approximately 250 square feet to the rear yard of the home, and created a strong connection to the patio and yard for entertaining. By working closely with our clients and understanding their desire to expand their floor plan; modernize yet harmonize with the existing ranch style we were able to come up with a unique solution.
