Arch Studio, Inc. was hired in mid-2014 to assist our clients with the architectural design, space planning and expansion of their existing Ranch Style home in Willow Glen, California. The existing 2,700 square foot home and detached angled garage, while large in size, had a very small kitchen, an awkward and uninviting entry, and needed some thought behind the design and layout. It was ready for an update.

We worked with our clients over a 6 month period, added about 800 square feet to the front of the home, enlarged the entry foyer, added skylights for lots of natural daylight, re-designed the bedroom wing, added a bedroom and bath, relocated the kitchen and laundry room, added a powder room, rebuilt and redesigned the 2 car garage, and transformed their existing home into a welcoming and thoughtful layout.
