Years ago we designed a new home for this client. They were ready to update the tradition style to something much more contemporary. We deleted the columns and ceiling that defined the Dining Room area. There was a wall that divided the raised Foyer from the kitchen. We pulled this wall and the raised area back. There is still enough wall to block the view into the kitchen as you come in the front door. This opened the Kitchen, Dining Room and Living Room up into one large entertaining area. The client fell in love with the two tone look in Brookhaven. The wall cabinets are a Matte Sierra on a Vista Maple Veneer with dark crown molding and light valance. The Base cabinets and Island are Fireside with a Black Glaze with a birds eye maple insert.
