The client wanted a contemporary inspired outdoor space to unwind at the end of the day while being able to enjoy lake views. Being on a hillside, care was given to stabilize the slope with a series of retaining walls. Also, a sunken hot tub with a custom ipe deck was constructed to create a more recluse spa feel. To further the linear look, we incorporated ledgestone that's used inside the house and applied it outside to the kitchen area as well as the raised gas firepit.
