Cooper Residence
Sited on a sloping, irregularly shaped lot, the Cooper Residence takes full advantage of its wooded vistas. Simple shapes punctu- ated by small and large openings combined into a composition of light and form. Real stucco and a commercial aluminum glazing system were used for durability and cost savings. The owners had a definite preference for clean and contemporary interiors to house their growing art collection; however, they still wanted warm and welcoming environments. In response, spaces full of natural light flow into one another for casual living and enteraining. Light wood tones combine with other natural materials and proficient lighting to warm the rooms.
