The Corten steel was designed by Tim O'Shea of Greenworks Design in collaboration of the plant design with Davis Dalbok. This Garden has an amazing circular 'Moon Gate' at the entry and corten steel retaining walls that elegantly lean. Next to the front door we designed a natural looking fountain with a massive boulder the gently spills water. The client loved the metal work in the garden so much that she asked us to design a corten mail box, garage door and cladding for the house. We love watching this weathering steel age as the rich patina of orange and browns become a work of art throughout the garden.
