This 1960’s home in the Mesa Verde neighborhood of Costa Mesa, was brought up to new building codes and standards for energy efficiency. Renovations included a custom kitchen, recessed beams and removing of load-bearing interior walls to achieve an open-spaced floor plan. Added new custom skylight and shaft, new firebox and hearth. Poured depressed slab to flush floor finish heights throughout. All new electrical system (including panel), new AC with linear registers and new plumbing.
