Cotney Lake House

Built on the banks of Lake Logan Martin, in Talladega County - just outside of Pell City, AL - this glorious weekender started off as an intended "Fishing Cabin." Thru the fun process of design, it morphed into a space where they could actually house and entertain the whole family of adult children and future grand kids.

Welcome to the lakeside entry of this wonderful cottage! Neutrals colors, rustic detailing and lots of stone really lend themselves to lake life! Can you imagine pulling up to this grand cabin from the boat house/dock or roadside, eitherone?

The road side porch wraps all the way around the house, eventually leading you to the large covered lakeside porch. All flooring is a Trex-like material in a chocolate finish. Tapered stone columns and painted 6x's pull the whole look together ... BEAUTIFULLY!

Across the entire lakeside of the house is porch! All covered. 2/3 is open air and 1/3 is screened. Glorious! Fans and cans really make this an extension of the inside and almost double the entertaining space.
