The update of a 1920s home in the Grove Park Neighborhood of Asheville: Orginally a sleeping porch, the space was reconfigured into a spacious an dlight filled master bath.

From a formerly underused upstairs space emerged a light filled bath with light beige walls and light beige ceramic tile floor. These contrast beautifully with the medium wood cherry cabinets.

The custom framed mirrors from Blackbird Frame and Art are surrounded by sconces from Currey and Co. The best bath lighting is always provided by sconces that light the sides of our faces.

Quartz countertops with a white undermount lavatories are part of the clean, fresh mood of the light filled bath. The owners had the original Arts and Crafts windows restored.

Soft white ceramic subway tile installed in a brick pattern continues the historic spirit of the home, while the mosaic glass tile border creates a fun surprise punch. The glazed ceiling also adds some subtle sparkle. The Craftsman style light fixture is original to the house.
