This Residence is located in Montara, a town that nestles itself between the mountains and the Pacific coast. The homeowners live their lives between urban and natural settings, and I wanted this reflected in the spaces of their home.

Whenever I approach a project, I like to take into consideration the essence of the people living in the home. My clients' work in the city (San Francisco), and spend much of their free time mountain biking and running — activities that are very accessible in the Montara area. They have twin boys and a baby girl, and are focused on healthy ingredients for their home-cooked family meals, but they also enjoy dining at fine restaurants and leading very urban lives. They’re incredible hosts and are focused on food, family and friends.
