Gut remodel of a standard bathroom space. The tub was replaced by a seamless walk-in shower, with a slate floor that continued up the back wall to make the space appear deeper. The side walls were lined with marine plywood in teak with cherry edge strips (installed for waterproofing). The plywood attachment points were covered with chrome screw covers, which gave the entire room the feel of a finely-crafted gentlemen's chest of drawers. A glass shower door was added after the photo was taken.
