More storage and new cabinets were necessary for this Ohio kitchen renovation. An entirely new lighting plan was implemented using a layered approach that included recessed lighting, undercounter LED rope light strips and custom hand-blown glass decorative pendants for over the island. The wall cabinets are 42-inches high. A closet was removed to allow space for a drink/bar area complete with wine cubbies, and an undercounter refrigerator. All doorways and entryways were cased in white painted trim. The cabinets are by Custom Cupboards and the granite was selected from Mont Granite. Glass cabinet door inserts were also used to design an interesting open kitchen concept and space plan. A tumbled limestone tiled backsplash gave the kitchen texture as well as a cherry stained island that seats four people. A Wolf gas range completes this gourmet cook's kitchen.
