906 designed a two story English Arts and Crafts home for a client in a pocket community of Thompson Station, Tennessee. The painted brick house included family living spaces on the first level with an open kitchen/living concept along with a large downstairs master suite. The use of a recessed two car garage allowed the home owners to de-emphasize the automobile and accentuate the people living in the home and their connection to the community. The design also included a hidden access through a bookshelf to gain access to the bonus/home-theater room.
