The client wanted a unique and elegant table for dining. We found a beautiful piece of natural wood and hired an artist to fill in the void with epoxy and stitch the sides together with beautiful contrasting keys. The table base (not seen) was made out of cold rolled steel sheeting with a natural finish and placed such that the base cannot be seen through the clear epoxy finish. Is it floating?
