Take a look at this beautiful staircase and landing railing we did for a project in California. The end caps on this railing are actually wall returns. We used the wall returns to have the railing ends point down to prevent sleeves from getting caught on, as they walk up the stairs.

Not only are the rails up to code, but it is also very unique and pleasing to the eye.
