This new construction project meant I could help with the floors, wall colors, details… everything!!! My clients were amazing because they put a lot of faith in me and allowed me to run with my imagination. One of my favorite design choices in this home is the glass railing. Looking up the detail of the woodwork is stunning and the contrast of the stained wood really makes a statement. As you enter the foyer under the stairs is an open space. We added a quatrefoil mirror and quatrefoil table. See the dining room that sits just to the right of this amazing foyer. To the right of the foyer is their formal dining room. We added shiplap to the main wall to add some character, and a beautiful chandelier and accessories. Take a look at this gold and grey palette. When I was brought onto this project, the cabinet color and layout had already been decided. I helped in the lighting, the backsplash and the countertops. I used super white granite for the countertops and the backsplash was called Soho Chevron White Thassos. Off the kitchen is a butlers pantry. We used a traditional black granite and a glass basket weave backsplash. See more from this Dalton project! The kitchen to this fabulous home opens up to the den, and the detail in this home continues. The coffered ceiling, the shiplap, the doors, the floors and the molding. We had fun decorating with some modern, unique finishing touches, including nail-trimmed club chairs, brass and silver accessories and colorful, patterned pillows.
