Our customer had a old hardwood with a lot of squeaks and with a baby that's not an ideal situation.

Many times the squeaks are coming from the subfloor but in this case most of them were from the hardwood.

When the hardwood was installed they didn't use enough nails. That's causing the boards to loosen up and have squeaks.

After the hardwood removal we reinforced the subfloor with screws and we replaced 2 sheets of plywood.

Because of the difference in thickness between the hardwood and the vinyl planks we had to replace the existing baseboards moldings with bigger ones.

The steps and the saddles were stained to match the color of the vinyl plank.
