This project was one of our favorites to complete due to the sharp elements of design and freedom the client allowed when doing this remodel. One of the most striking features of this space is the open fireplace. This used to be a one sided fireplace that faced the main living area, so when we opened it up it took some major structural engineering on our part. We had to make it completely open on one side while still having this structural wall be able to hold up the entire second story of this house. Wrapping it a stunning Cambria Quartz material made this key feature become a show stopper. For the rest of the kitchen we used DeWils Cabinetry, CaesarStone Quartz and Walker Zanger mosaic for the finishing details.
