Deerwood Kitchen Remodel
When a returning client is ready for “Phase 2” remodeling, we greatly appreciate them coming back to the Design Studio to take care of the job. Our client lives in the very distinguished Deerwood community on the Southside. However, the original spaces in most of the grand, beautiful homes are now outdated & in need of updating.
The location of our clients kitchen is near the back patio so not only did we open up the space by removing the wall that divided the separate bar area from the kitchen, we combined the two spaces into a beautiful, fluid open design & let all the natural light come into the space as well. We used a natural travertine backsplash with a stone & glass decorative border that would bring the two-toned cabinetry together in perfect harmony. To top it off we used Cambria’s ‘Windermere’ quartz which also balances the light & dark wood cabinets.
We had to really keep in mind the functionality of the kitchen & the aging-in-place philosophy of design.
Lastly, we were very pleased to introduce LeGrand’s ‘Adorne’ switchplates; a new sleek & smart product installed by David Gray’s electrical division.
