In close collaboration with the builder who owned this midcentury split-level, we worked within the existing building envelope to enliven both interior and exterior. Some outdated features were replaced, while the new design celebrates certain original details such as the masonry fireplace, portal window, and glass block walls. New and enlarged windows work together with a crisp palette of colors and materials to brighten and invigorate this charming home.
