Our client had moved to a new home and brought along existing traditional dining room furniture and an Oriental rug. We suggested adding picture molding and deep blue paint below the chair rail to work with the client’s love of all things blue and white. Adding the new host and hostess chairs, Chinoiserie wallpaper border, and elegant window treatments were the only things that needed to be done. We chose a lovely blue and white crewel fabric for the drapery panels and for the seat and inside backs of the two new chairs. For the outside backs of the chairs, we found a velvet fabric in the perfect shade of blue.
