We did some simple updating to this generic “builder’s special” kitchen. The changes were just cosmetic, but they made a huge impact. A rich deep blue wall color looks great against the white cabinets! We added a solid surface counter, new backsplash, and changed the knobs. The blues and golden yellows are so French, which was something the client really wanted! We found a beautiful plaid fabric and a toile to re-upholster her existing wing-back hostess chairs and to have the custom window treatments and pillows made for her bench. It was fun to find these items to complement her beautiful collections and two Oriental rugs.
