The clients had a front door, sliding glass door, and bedroom door that were badly scratched by their dogs. The trim around the slider had a 2" x 14" crevasse that their K-9 companions had created. I saved the clients time and money by using mold making and f aux finishing techniques. I re-buit the profile with epoxy and f aux painted the grain using powder pigments and lacquers. The result was doors and trim that looked like new without having to replace the doors and trim entirely, saving the customer thousands of dollars in material and labor costs.
