Personalizing a bland building interior in this Houston high-rise was the challenge on this project. The client was moving to a space with a view but he also wanted the interior to reflect his personal style while allowing the vistas to play a major role in the decor. Blue was the color that unified each space at the client's request. A plastered blue wall at the foyer and dining room creates a powerful but dignified statement as one enters the space. The closets and guest bath were redesigned to gain more room in the dining area. The kitchen was modified to improve storage capacity by adding pull-out pantries and additional cabinets. A dry bar and custom island were added to support our client's passion for entertaining. Custom furniture pieces were designed to keep the space clean and efficient as well as sleek and crisp. Fabric wrapped panels play an important role in the main living area while adding visual texture to the room. The overall look and feel of the space is one of urban luxury enhancing the modern lifestyle of our client.
