This Master Bath with black tile, mauve laminate cabinets and 4 ' square sunken bathtub shower combination was sorely in need of updating. But the finishes were not the only problem. As the only bathroom on the ground floor, it was also used by houseguests, infringing upon the privacy of the owners. Using the 2 existing entrances, we created a small powder room entered from a hallway and then a spacious feeling master bath en suite with the master bedroom. While the powder room has a sexy punch of red and white, the master is a soothing spa-like space with a mix of grays, ocean tone tiles, natural bamboo and concrete.
