This kitchen was truly a DIY! The homeowner did an amazing job taking this space from dark and dated to bright and more functional. The budget was extremely limited for this project so we spared expense by first painting the existing cabinets a bright white and reusing the existing hardware. The 3 x 6 subway tile was an inexpensive as well as the new pendant light fixture. By doing the painting and tile work himself, the homeowner was able to splurge on this gorgeous solid surface countertop and extra deep double sink, which was hired out to a professional. A new faucet and fresh blue paint finished up the look.
