A little Flashback Friday to one of our favorite collaborations with Massey Associates Architects! This landmark Lake Forest residence, an original creation by notable midcentury architect Ike W. Colburn, was subject to strict design requirements during its 2016 redesign to preserve the Asian tea house style of the original architecture.

Massey Associates did an exceptional job with the tasteful new additions to the property, including a modern kitchen with multiple sliding LaCantina Doors that open the space up to the expansive yard and beautifully landscaped two acre grounds. Triple glazing brought added energy efficiency to the home, and integrated Centor USA screens seamlessly pull out from the walls to provide extra defense against summer bugs.
