Dressing Room Renovation

Complete renovation of an existing space to a closet and dressing room. Custom cabinets, feminine accents, bold color, and lots of functional storage space. Designer provided millwork designs and details, color scheme, fixtures, furniture, and accessories.

Wall of functional and organized storage space. Built-in custom shoe storage with glass doors. Handbag storage above with lots of hanging clothes space. To save money, the cabinet boxes were built and installed by a local shop, and the Owner finished and painted the built-ins.

Original double louvered doors were repurposed using thin plywood. molding, and paint. Wooden hangers help to keep everything organized and neat. A bathroom towel bar was mounted to hang the Owner's scarves.

The original flooring (commercial carpet) was removed and replaced with Chestnust Pine wood floors. The flooring was sourced from a discount supplier to match the adjacent room.

The found vintage desk being used as a vanity needed some minor repair work, a new paint job, and hardware. The mirror and ottoman were sourced at a large affordable online retailer. Privacy film was added to the windows to obscure the view into the closet.

Overview of dressing table and hanging clothes storage. Instead of expensive wallpaper, the owner opted to paint a striped pattern on ceiling and splurged on a lovely globe crystal chandelier.

A small space off of the Master Bedroom was being utilized as a bedroom by previous renters. All surfaces were painted, flooring replaced, and an exterior door removed.
