The backyard of this home was shady and wet making it difficult to grow grass. Drainage issues resulted in flooding after heavy rains. Working with the client we designed and installed a dry creek bed, planting and patios. During rain events the creek fills with water and directs it to a rain garden. A small flagstone patio makes a nice area for a fire pit while a larger patio, also flagstone, creates a private space for gathering and family dinners.
