Early Branch Farm
Early Branch Farm represents an 18-year planning and design collaboration between the owner and the architect in the implementation of a Master Plan outlining the renovation and additions to the site's original structures.
Prior to the renovations and additions a visit to Early Branch Farm was a step back in time: a dilapidated but beautifully vernacular and intact 19th century southern coastal-plain farm complete with cane shed, smoke house, barns, outbuildings and a farmhouse built in 1868 of old growth heart pine salvaged from a house General Sherman destroyed.
