After careful planning Garden Gate Landscaping, Inc. renovated this backyard to create an eclectic garden with a diversity of hardscape elements and a wide range of trees, shrubs, perennials and ground covers. Homage was given to the stone artist Andy Goldsworthy and to Stonehenge. A natural stone and a more formal water feature added the sound and sights of water. Tons of stone boulders and pavers created a natural feel to parts of the garden while a cooper rose arbor with a border of boxwood flanked by roses and hydrangea added a formal touch to the lawn panel. A useful and attractive wooden deck and flagstone patio cover by a craftsman style pergola tied the outdoor living spaces to the ranch style home. A new garden shed and permeable paver parking area provider the opportunity to catch and stone rain water in an underground holding tank.
