This project involved an extensive remodel of an existing pool. An upper shallow wading pool was added that wraps a new poll cabana/barbecue space and spills into the pool. A spa and fire pit area were added. The pavilion was conceived as a composition of 3 pieces - a wide support column that doubles as a bathroom/changing room, a nearly flat roof, and a single steel post. The pavilion was designed in collaboration with Gregory Robert Brown Construction. It received a 2014 Builder's Choice/Custom Home Design Award in the Accessory Structures category.
