Every project has varying challenges, and this was no exception. With this design we wanted to incorporate the traditional features found in other parts of the home, yet create a relaxing, current space. By pairing the understated elegance of the Emser Tile Citadel "Grey" 24x24 floor tiles with the contemporary Emser Tile Metro "Grey" wall tiles the overall look is interesting, without being busy. Using the modern vein cut stone in a warm neutral color helps everything come together. The oil rubbed bronze accents and fixtures, paired with other traditional features like dark cabinets, touches of crystal and traditional marble counters help complete the transitional design. This not only looks great, but adds to the overall style and flow of the home. Transitional design takes the best elements of both modern and traditional design to create a warm, elegant space that will be enjoyed for years to come.
