You never know what may lead to inspiration, a reckoning, an illumination. Much is the case for our Illuminating Journey design.Finding inspiration from a turn on the classic, we began with a beveled gray subway tile and paired it with espresso shaker cabinets. Thus we began a journey that would completely transform a once confining space into a contemporary expanse. Opening the walls between the living room and kitchen helped, but using the island as a medium to join the once isolated dining room to the kitchen really became the fuel for our mission. The journey was far from complete however, by no means was our destination typical design, we had work to do. Extensive lighting upgrades were pivotal in defining the space, using Quartz counters inlaid with recycled glass and mirror to not only freshen the look, but also providing the canvas for our illumination. Our journey continues with the gleam of the Emser Tile "Vista" mosaic feature above the range. The glass bezel range lends itself perfectly to our focal point. Finally, our destination was in sight, our journey has left a dramatic transformation on the open and contemporary space.
