Space between the main counter and island is very important. Not too much and not too little. Here we have allowed approximately 42" between the two. Note the nice shadow line between the crown at the top of the cabinets and the ceiling system.

Is this a cooking center or what?! This massive 48" range is dwarfed by the breathtaking cabinetry that flanks it. Where there is the space, good sized drawer cabinets on either side of a range provide great space for all the pots & pans one could use. Either side of the range above the countertops...
