Pressure washing this house revealed that all the nail holes rotted out due to poor maintenance, along with some of the window trim. We filled in all the nail holes with Bondo Putty, a fiberglass filler that is stronger than wood and cannot rot out again over time, which allows the wood to still be held in strong by the nails without having to be replaced.
After sanding everything down smooth, we primed the house with Duckback Peeling Paint Primer, applied a first coat of Duration to everything, then a second coat of Emerald to everything in two different colors, all from Sherwin Williams.
The customer, being a retired Contractor, decided to replace the rotted window frames and install vinyl siding on the front portion of the house which was completely rotted out from weather damage.
