This English Tudor, in the Hancock Park Area, was completely restored to its original 1920's grandeur via the under the Mills Act Program. The original family had owned the house for two generations. By the time of our work much of the original floors had been carpeted, wallpaper was painted over and there was lots of "deferred maintenance". The front and backyards had been "let go". We had to source out a lot of historic fixtures and do a lot of restoration-recreation of mouldings.
