Erickson Project

Original issue was poor drainage, severe European Cranefly damage, and only 'wrong choices' for plants - no reason to want to go out into yard - it was a depressing mud pit. Clients were interested in improving use and aesthetics too.
Shades of Green Landscaping did a master paln for the back and the installation of the work. We corrected the drainage issues and renovated the yard to include a gazebo, outdoor kitchen, paver walk/patios, fire pit/seating wall area, a small water feature, and many plants that provide color, attract birds and butterflies, and have year round interest. Now, the back yard is their haven and they love entertaining guests.

The once soggy and disease ridden yard has been transformed into a great back yard for both playing and enjoying the views. Plants were chosen for ease of maintenance, providing year-round interest and color, and atrracting butterflies and hummingbirds.

small, easy-to-maintain Bubble Rock Fountain can be seen and heard from patio, gazebo, back rooms of the house. There is the occasional butterfly, dragonfly or hummingbird visitor, who enjoy the cool water and sweet nectar of plantings nearby.

Built partially above the existing rectangular patio at a 45-degree angle, this raised gazebo provides a cooler, intimate setting for a sunny (sometimes hot) back yard retreat. There is power for adding heater or hanging a TV to watch Seahawk games on nice early fall days....great way to tailgate...

Inside the gazebo, the roof has long-lastin assorted LED hanging light of various styles....when combined, they add an eclectic feel, and provide a lovely glow to light at night.
