The owners of this home above San Diego's San Pascual Valley converted their lawn and water thirsty plantings to native habitat around 10 years ago. Following the 2007 wildfires that surrounded their home and burned many of the slopes surrounding their home, we worked with the homeowner to provide a plan for replacing the burned landscape with native habitat plantings including manzanita and sage.
