It gives you a neighbor pub feel while serving as a 2nd kitchen for holidays and special events. There was soffit that needed to be build to hide the mechanicals for the main floor. The shape of the soffit was mirrored with the bar to give it a custom feel. This allowed the homeowner to add can lights in front of all the cabinets. The cabinets were done in a dark espresso to give it a modern touch.
