This client's refined tastes for artful and organic approaches to her space led the way to complete this exquisite home. This client is a painter and is no stranger to color, so we worked with balancing bold statements of saturated color and intermingled them with soft, neutral backgrounds. The large sectional in the living room was covered in a neutral eco linen. We added blasts of blue and orange with antique hill tribe pillows and orange leather tufted stools. The unique mohair cobalt blue chairs are trimmed in silver leather. And the oversized leather ottoman gives the family a comfortable place to relax. In the master bedroom we were inspired by the clients vintage suzani silk coverlet, so we added pillows in Madeline Weinrib silk ikat and other berry colored ikats in linen and silk. The kitchen features Ligne Roset leather barstools and Terzani pendants we love. Throughout the house we placed unique and one of a kind artifacts like an antique alter table, antique over-dyed rugs, and vintage ming jars.
