World-class architecture deserves world-class photography for marketing purposes. When a structure goes up, it's more than an aesthetic statement. Though often times artistically pleasing, this is not sculpture, but rather a breathing, functioning "machine" to live and work in, as Le Corbusier observed. These buildings are meant for use, and are indeed a tribute to the accomplishments man is capable of. These are our homes, our schools, our hospitals and places of worship, as well as our business centers, museums, galleries, bridges and sports arenas. Lance's aim is to tell the story through photographs by placing the viewer "on location" and interpreting the architects intent to help provide better understanding and cultural enrichment.
