For five years Coyle & Caron LLC led the planning, design, and implementation of several renovation and expansion projects for a family compound located south of Boston. A master proposed structures and outdoor spaces addressing specific uses for each family and strong connections between the two homes. A gently curving stone wall was used as a grade separation along the shared property line to: create terraces to take advantage of harbor views; address drainage problems; and establish a private setting for each home.
