Extensive remodel and addition to existing 1950s house in South Austin. Several walls were removed in the interior to open up a large great room in the heart of the house, and a generous master suite with vaulted ceiling was added to the back, maintaining the original profile of the simple gable. Everything in the house, from the wiring to the plumbing as well as every finish in the house, interior and exterior, were updated and improved with a simple contemporary aesthetic.
