Where the load-bearing wall was, seamless Oak flooring extends into the kitchen. Removal of the wall and large support beam allowed for an expanded ceiling tray in the kitchen with additional recessed LED lighting.

The added kitchen island doubled the countertop work space and offers added functions of a secondary sink and in-countertop composting insert. Other features includ a tandem trash and recycling cabinet.

All cabinetry is white with beadboard detail on the island carried to the seating area and banquette seating.
