Remodel of the Kitchen, Dining room, and attached kitchen eat-in nook of a Walnut Creek home. The blue cottage style was developed with custom colored cabinetry, and an exquisite backsplash feature behind the range, becoming a focal point that was visible in all three rooms. The style correlates with the other finishes in the client's home, and provides a nice sense of flow and cohesion room-to-room. Custom fabric upholstery was used in the dining room. Extending the bay window transformed the kitchen by providing additional natural light and additional countertop and feeling of space. To enhance the cottage, farmhouse feel, furniture feet were used on the cabinetry.
