Entering this French Country home, which was converted from a 1960's Ranch House, the focus is on a small central Rotunda, which accesses Living, Powder and Dining Rooms, and the new Kitchen. A Wall Niche was added for interest, and a small Ceiling Dome allows for a hanging chandelier. The walls...

Once the Master Bedroom, with an 8 foot ceiling, the Living Room ceiling was raised to dramatic height, centering on a classic chandelier. The arch leads back to the Entry, while dramatic use of color accentuates the Architecture.

The Living Room looks out on the Terrace and panoramic views of San Francisco Bay beyond. The custom Drapery was made for the Client's prior home, and altered for use here.

The compact, efficient Kitchen is the only room which hasn't changed it's function! The Island top is white marble, and is used for Pastry making. A glimpse into the Dining Room is at the left.

A view of the Cooking area, with it's custom faux stone Range Hood. An antique French Iron Fireback is installed behind the range, while a unique 19th Century Frenche wrought iron Chandelier lights the Island.

One focal point of the spacious Dining Room (once the Family Room!) is the remodeled fireplace with gold marble surround and faux finished carved wood Mantel. The ceiling was raised to dramatic effect.

Once the living room, the new Master Bedroom was given a raised ceiling. The former fieldstone fireplace was reborn and features a 16th Century Limestone Mantel, selected in France for the project.
