We sanded down the original hardwood floorboards throughout the property and added a lovely rich dark stain, making it both chic and cosy. The tongue and groove panelling really adds to the cosy cottage feel of the space. We replaced the fireplace hearth with warm limestone - both fresh and light....

Radiator covers are both a nice way to discretely hide unattractive radiators, as well as providing handy storage/surfaces, like this console table design. Twin brass lamps either side frame the map we hung on the wall.

We put in large bi-folding french doors across the entire back wall of the property, and re-paved the garden. We painted the doors a shade darker than the walls, in a Little Greene paint. A handy slipper chair sits by the bed.

We put in an extra bathroom with the extension. We designed this vanity unit, which was custom made, and added in large baskets to hold towels and linens. We love using wall lights in bathrooms to add some warmth and charm.
